Supervisor Linda Tyson Eason is a devoted woman of God whose life reflects a deep love for the Lord and a steadfast commitment to service. A native of the Sunshine State of Florida, she was born the fourth of nine children to Rev. Joseph and Malissa Tyson. At an early age, she accepted God’s invitation to discipleship and began a lifelong journey dedicated to compassionate outreach, ministry, and leadership.

Supervisor Eason attended Clark Atlanta University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. She later returned to the university to earn a Master of Social Work degree from the Whitney M. Young, Jr. School of Social Work.

Professionally, Supervisor Eason is a successful Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, where she has received multiple distinctions as a top-producing real estate agent. She is also a retired social worker with extensive experience in hospice care as a licensed medical social worker, as well as a distinguished career with the State of Georgia Department of Family and Children Services.

A passionate servant leader, Supervisor Eason has faithfully used her gifts in administration, hospitality, music, and missions to bless both church and community. As a young missionary at St. Philip AME Church in Savannah, Georgia, she established the Doris Roberts Unit of the Henry McNeal Turner Women’s Missionary Society, focusing on serving disadvantaged children and families within the community.

During her time serving alongside her husband at Big Bethel AME Church, Supervisor Eason led the Women’s Ministry, developing outreach initiatives for women in the surrounding community while fostering opportunities for sisterhood, fellowship, and spiritual growth. From 2015 to 2023, she also served passionately as President of the Atlanta North Georgia Conference Minister Spouses, Widows, Widowers, and PKs Organization.

Supervisor Eason is a proud member of the The Links, Incorporated through the Camellia Rose Chapter, an organization committed to friendship, leadership, and impactful community service.

Currently, Supervisor Eason serves alongside her husband, Bishop Gregory V. Eason Sr., in the 20th Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. In this role, she provides leadership and oversight to the Women’s Missionary Society, the Young People’s and Children’s Division, and the Ministers’ Spouses, Widows, Widowers, and PKs Organization. The 20th Episcopal District encompasses Malawi, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Tanzania, and portions of Mozambique.

Among her greatest joys are her faith, family, and ministry. Supervisor Eason has been blessed with 39 years of marriage to Bishop Gregory V. Eason Sr. and is the proud mother of the late Carmen JoVonne Eason, Gregory Eason Jr., and daughter-in-love Kimberly Delk Eason. She also cherishes time spent with her beloved granddaughter, Kimberly Jr., affectionately known as “Junie.”

In her leisure time, Supervisor Eason enjoys reading, scenic walks in nature, exploring various genres of music, and creating lasting memories with her family.
